Why Sweat With Pride?
This June, we are taking on the challenge of Sweat With Pride to raise funds for our rainbow communities. We invite you to join our team! 💦🌈
Our schools, workplaces, and doctors’ offices often pose risks for many individuals within the rainbow community. This situation endangers lives.
The Statistics Speak Volumes
Did you know that almost 3 million Australians identify as LGBTQIA+? Despite progress, we still face significant challenges. Sadly, our communities experience the highest rates of suicidality compared to other populations in Australia. Furthermore, less than 50% of rainbow youth feel safe in school environments. This reality cannot continue.
Our Commitment to Change
This June, we’re determined to combat discrimination through perspiration. We have pledged to exercise for at least 21 minutes EVERY DAY throughout the month. All of this effort is to raise funds that will help support Australia's LGBTQIA+ communities.
Personal Impact of the Cause
This cause holds great significance for my team and me. We are passionate about making a difference. I would greatly appreciate your support as we work to reach our fundraising goal. Every dollar counts and will fund vital support services for Australia's rainbow communities.
